I am an artist based in Hamilton, New Zealand, creating custom pencil portraits that provide a unique way to display special memories.
Previously known under the name Eternal Hope Memorial Portraits, which I launched in memory of my angel daughter, Hope, I created Where Hope Blooms to incorporate my custom artwork with my memorial pieces in a way that celebrates life in all its wonderful forms, no matter how brief.
As any artist will tell you, creative expression is putting a piece of yourself out into the world. Since a piece of my daughter will always be a part of me, my art has and always will be a way to honour her and keep her memory alive past her short life on Earth.
Creating custom, professional portraits for my clients allows me to share in precious, irreplaceable memories and parts of peoples' lives, which is something I appreciate for the privilege that it is.
